Sioux Lookout Council Approves Budget

Sioux Lookout Council has approved the 2007 Municipal budget and
taxpayers will see a 3.36% increase this year.
Mayor Kathy Poling says they have made it through years of Provincial
downloading and have finally been able to move ahead with several capital
projects.
A majority of the work will be road upgrades and extending the water
and sewer line down Highway 72 and to the Airport.
Other work includes urban subdivision work and cottage lot development
in Hudson and enhancing the weight room and change rooms at the Rec Complex.
