A new Courthouse in Sioux Lookout is scheduled to open next month.
David Zimmer, the Parliamentary Assistant to the Attorney General, was in Sioux Lookout Wednesday to check on the project.
The new $7.1-million facility is state-of-the-art and fully accessible.
It features special hearing impaired equipment, 4-holding cells, office space and a conference room.
The Sioux Lookout Court is one of the busiest courts in Northwestern Ontario and will sit on nearly 17,000 square feet of land.
The satellite courthouse will be able to provide service for roughly 15,000 people living in fly-in communities.
