Sioux Lookout Doctor to Appear in Court in Septemb

A 3 year court battle will continue.
Sioux Lookout Doctor Leonard Kelly faces a charge of possessing child pornography after Police seized some computers from his home in October 2001.
Kelly made a brief court appearance Monday, where his Lawyer David Gibson attempted to get the Crown to release some information that he says proves that Kelly’s Charter of Rights have been violated.
Meantime, Dr. Kelly continues to maintain his medical privileges at the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre and the Sioux Lookout Clinic and no disciplinary action has been taken by the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons. The case has been adjourned to September 13th.
