Sioux Lookout Flood Warning

More concerns about flooding in Sunset Country.
The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is informing the public to be wary of high water levels on Pelican Lake.
Sioux Lookout Emergency Services Manager Rob Favot says due to heavy rainfall and the threat of more precipitation, the public should be aware that flooding may occur in the coming days.
Favot says residents with concerns are encouraged to contact the Operations Department or Emergency Services Department.
He adds sandbags are available if needed.
More than 50 millimetres of rain fell in the Sioux Lookout area this week.
