Sioux Lookout Man Charged With Assault

A Sioux Lookout man faces multiple charges following an altercation during his arrest.
Provincial Police arrested the accused for public intoxication on King Street in Sioux Lookout.
He was transported to the OPP detachment and an altercation took place where the man allegedly assaulted the officers.
OPP say 34-year-old Paul Mahoney faces 2-counts of assaulting a police officer, 1-count of uttering threats against an officer and 1-count of resisting arrest.
