A man from Sioux Lookout has finally reached Humboldt, Saskatchewan.
Rance Cardinal, a former Junior B player, walked 1200 kilometres in 48 days to show support for the Humboldt Broncos.
Cardinal had worn a sign during his journey filled with messages of hope and condolences. He felt compelled to deliver the sign to Humboldt.
Waiting at the finish line were members of the community and even his mother, who he hadn’t seen in more than three years.
