Sioux Lookout OPP arrests suspicious individual

The Sioux Lookout detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has taken a 29-year-old individual from Webequie First Nation into custody.

The OPP received notice through multiple reports that a suspicious person was attempting to enter homes and vehicles just after 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Police arrested the suspect, who was held for bail, and released with a court date down the line.

The accused has been charged with two counts of breaking and entering and two counts of mischief.
