Municipal officials in Sioux Lookout are looking at the next steps of their Town Beach.
Earlier in the year the beach saw some discolouration which was proven to be a petroleum-like substance.
The next steps include removing the discoloured sand and replacing it with newer sand along with implementing a hotline to report new discoloured sand.
Finally the municipality will set up a protocol to notify the public of the status of the situation.
