Here’s some good news!
Let’s push negativity aside and look at what’s going right in our neck of the woods.
Here are a couple of things to make us smile today:
Huge news out of Sioux Lookout!! The Sioux Lookout Food Bank just landed a massive $500,000 grant from the province. They are going to build a brand new, 3,000-square-foot facility! This means more space, better food selection, and more dignity for those in the Sioux Lookout area who need a helping hand. That is a massive win for the ‘Hub of the North.’
A quick shout-out to the Ojibway Power Toboggan Association. Their recent Pink Warrior Run was a smashing success, raising over $10,400 for the Meno Ya Win Health Centre Foundation. That money is going directly toward a new mammography machine. Way to go, Sioux Lookout!
