Sioux Lookout Post Office Not Closing

Kenora MP Greg Rickford says a rumour of the Sioux Lookout Post Office closing is absolutely false!
The Minister of State says he’s been in contact with Minister Raitt, who is responsible for Canada Post affairs, and he says the office is safe.
Rickford says he respects the right of a petition being circulated in the community but notes comments of a closure are absolutely false.
He stresses Sioux Lookout will continue to receive the same great service they always have.
Rickford says northwestern Ontario outlets are protected under special Legislation and he stresses he’s been following the situation for several months.
