Sioux Lookout Releases Results Of Resident Survey

The results from the resident survey in Sioux Lookout are out!
It was launched in April, and about 380-people completed it offering their comments on shopping experiences, programs and community safety.
The survey finds that folks would like to see more retail, restaurant and entertainment opportunities.
Residents also said there is a need to update the infrastructure at recreational facilities, adding that the current programs are very much enjoyed.
Meanwhile, folks offered suggestions to improve public safety in the downtown core.
Economic Development Officer Florence Bailey says all the information they receive will help the Economic Development Commission and council as they move forward next year, as well as applying the funds in the budget to support the programs and events.
