Most people in the Sioux Lookout area are pleased with services
offered in the community.
A Municipal Services Delivery Review Steering Committee survey found
taxpayers were happy with garbage collection, snow removal, recreational
services and basic infrastructure.
However, the 241-respondants indicated road conditions and the
cleanliness of the downtown core were unsatisfactory.
The Committee will make a list of recommendations to be presented to
Council but officials note Provincial downloading and the cost of policing
have put a strain on finances in Sioux Lookout.
