The Senior Girls Basketball team trounced Thomas Aquinas 28-13 Friday morning in the Gold Medal game.
Christina O’Brien dominated play with 12 points.
Queen Elizabeth will now host Michipicoten High School next week in
the NWOSSA Final.
The Atikokan Voyageurs also earned a berth in the NWOSSA Championship with a 5 set win over Thomas Aquinas in Senior Boys Volleyball play.
The Voyageurs took the final set 15-11.
Thomas Aquinas captured the Junior Boys Volleyball and Junior Girls Basketball crowns with wins over Atikokan.
