Sioux Mountain Public School Receives Funding For Child Care Expansions

Sioux Mountain Public School will be seeing around 2 million dollars in upgrades to their child care spaces.

The contract was awarded to Finn Way and they will begin construction soon which should be complete before the next school year.

Superintendent of Education for the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board Caryl Hron says some of the upgrades include expansions to the current area with a toddler room and enhancing the playground.

Hron also says some retrofitting will be done in other parts of the school as well including the staff room and kitchen.
