The Town of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls says it’s reviewing it’s Community Improvement Plan.
The plan has been in place for about five years now.
Town planner Jeff Port says he is recommending a bit of an expansion of the program, if it is re-newed.
“Council has given me direction to proceed with the review of the Community Improvement Plan. It’s been 5 years in the making now, it was adopted in 2012. We’ve been following it pretty closely over the past 5 years.”
Under the program, businesses along the Highway 71 corridor are encourage to apply for funding to fix up the facades of their buildings, install new signs and even do some landscaping.
