Sioux Lookout OPP were busy with two separate incidents involving impaired drivers this past Sunday.
Sunday morning, a 24 year old Manitoba man was charged with impaired driving and possession of marijuana – police say his blood alcohol level was one and a half times legal level.
Sunday afternoon, OPP investigated a single vehicle collision that sent two passengers to Sioux Lookout Hospital. The 41 year old male driver, from Winnipeg, was charged after police recorded blood alcohol levels of almost three times the legal limit. The driver faces charges of impaired driving causing bodily harm and was held in custody overnight.
