SIU Assists In Red Lake Case

The Ontario Special Investigations Unit has assigned four of its members
to look into the death of a Red Lake man. Two investigators from the SIU and two forensic experts will be examining the circumstances surrounding the fatality early yesterday morning.
The OPP Tactical and Rescue Unit says the man was dead when they
entered the residence on Dickenson Road early yesterday morning.
The SIU says the man had sustained some gunshot wounds.
While the OPP say foul play is not suspected, the SIU is called in anytime
a person is killed which involves any interaction with police.
