The Ontario Special Investigations Unit says it’s no longer looking into an altercation between an OPP officer and a female inmate at the Kenora Jail.
The SIU was initially contacted after a 21 year old woman was being transported to the Kenora Jail on May 14th.
The SIU confirms there was an interaction between an officer and the woman being transported to the jail.
She was examined by a medical professional and it was determined she suffered no serious injuries.
As a result the investigation was terminated.
