The Ontario Special Investigations Unit has identified the man shot by OPP during the fire at Anicinabe Park as a 57-year-old.
His name has not been revealed
The SIU also confirm that the man set the office building ablaze and was brandishing knifes.
One officer fired a shot that hit the man.
He was later pronounced dead at Lake of the Woods Hospital.
The SIU has assigned three investigators and two forensic investigators to the case.
