SIU Still Looking into Kakabeka Falls Tragedy

Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 23-year-old Kurtis McVittie at Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park.
The Huntsville man died when he fell into the Falls last Wednesday.
Police say the man was involved in an incident with police prior to the mishap.
The S-I-U has appointed one officer to the case and identified three officers as witness officers.
A number of other witnesses have also been identified.
The S-I-U is trying to determine if there was any police wrongdoing.
