Officials with the Six Nations reserve in Southern Ontario claim the OPP
are targeting their people and people of colour.
The band says officers detained five Six Nations residents and 4-were
charged in relation to last week’s blockade of Highway 17.
They also claim that police cruisers entered the Grassy Narrows First
Nation without permission.
Six Nations officials were in Grassy Narrows to discuss the latest in
the clear-cutting dispute.
They add the police action was an act of intimidation.
