Size of Airport Runways Discussed with Minister

The Mayor of Dryden is calling a meeting with Transport Minister Denis Lebel fruitful.

Municipal leaders brought up concerns that the Federal Government wants to reduce the size of airport runways.
Nuttall says the move would restrict landing of larger planes in Dryden.
Nuttall says he’s been assured that the Feds will look at the issue for smaller Airports.
He also stressed the importance of accessing funding to pave Highway 17 through town.
