The Federal Government is supporting the Sioux Lookout Area Aboriginal Management Board with $90,000 in funding.
The cash will aid 28 On-Reserve youth develop life and skills to ensure a smooth transition into the work world.
The teens will be able to work 35-hours a week, for 8-weeks in a number of jobs.
Youth in Eagle Lake, North Caribou Lake, Sachigo Lake, Bearskin Lake, Kasabonika, Wunnumin Lake and Wapekeka First Nations are eligible for the Skills Link funding.
