Small Fire at Kenora School

It was an unscheduled afternoon off for students at Beaver Brae High School in Kenora today. (Tuesday)
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says there was a small fire at the school this morning.
Officials say while the fire was extinguished immediately and damage was minimal, the school had to be closed to allow for proper ventilation of smoke from the building.
All students and staff were safely evacuated.
