Small Victory for Kenora-Rainy River MPP

The Provincial Government has extended the deadline for those living in unorganized area’s to pay their final 2010 land tax bill.
Northerners were shocked to learn last Tuesday that they had until December 3rd and 17th to pay their bill.
That prompted a letter from Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton to Premier Dalton McGuinty.
McGuinty has now changed the deadlines to January 31st and February 28th.
