Smitherman Addresses Area Leaders

The Province’s Deputy Premier is in Thunder Bay today to discuss the future of Northern Ontario.
George Smitherman told an audience full of municipal, business and aboriginal leaders that Northerners are resilient and will get through hard economic times.
Smitherman is taking part in the Think North Summit, a conference aimed at generating ideas to stimulate the region’s economy.
Smitherman says the Ministry of Northern Development’s growth plan will help ensure the region’s economy for future generations.
