The Northwestern Health Unit’s Youth Action Alliance is continuing its
campaign to promote tobacco-free lifestyles.
Public awareness initiatives, the placement of outdoor ashtrays and
guest speakers have been on-going the past few months.
Spokesperson John Skene says Dryden youth have been hard at work
encouraging businesses to remove the large point-of-sale tobacco displays.
Skene says Bobby’s Corner in Vermilion Bay has agreed to remove its
power wall.
