Smoking Apeal

A judicial review into the health services appeal & review board decision on the region’s smoking ban is still several months away.
The divisional court won’t even begin hearings on the appeal until september 26th in toronto.
The government wants the court to toss out the ruling & reconsider the case.
Dryden Councillor & Health Board Member Gary Case says there has been a lot of waiting & little else happening with the issue.
