Smoking Ban Challenge

The Chief Medical Officer of Health of the Northwestern Health Unit has put out a challenge to all municipalities in the Kenora District.
Dr. Pete Sarsfield says a working group in the Rainy River District is supporting a total smoking ban in public spaces and workplaces.
Sarsfield is hoping municipalities follow through with the recommendation and he hopes the Kenora District Municipal Association follows that lead.
