Bar and Restaurant owners in Dryden and Kenora charged by the Northwestern Health Unit with violating the smoking ban have a big day ahead of them.
About 10 businesses are appealing charges at a special hearing in Thunder Bay this afternoon.
The Health Services Review Board will hear from both sides on the issue.
Dr. Pete Sarsfield and representatives from the Northwestern Health Unit will be present as will the Kenora-based lawyer representing the buisnesses.
Its not known if a ruling will be handed down today.
