More and more youth across Northwestern Ontario are butting out as
smoking rates have dropped 40% since 2001.
The latest trend represents students in grade 7 to 12 in the Thunder
Bay and Kenora-Rainy River Districts.
Hope Murdick is with the Dryden Youth Action Alliance and she credits
local initiatives.
Murdick promises the campaign will be raised to a higher level in the
near future.
