Sneak Peak At Federal Budget

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is revealing Tuesday’s budget will restore the Old Age Security eligibility age to 65.

The previous Harper government had raised it to 67, effective in 2023.

Trudeau says there are people in physically gruelling jobs who would find it difficult to work beyond the age of 65.

He adds his government is also working on increasing the Canada Pension Plan.

Trudeau says the budget will also outline their aggressive infrastructure plan to help northern communities.
