Snobelen – Canada Will Win Softwood Lumber Dispute

The Ontario Government is confident a deal on softwood lumber can be reached with the United States.
But Natural Resources Minister John Snobelen vows to win the softwood lumber dispute in court if there is no long term agreement with the U.S.
Snobelen remains confident that our practices can meet any test in any court and feels Canada will be victorious in litigation.
The Bush Administration is expected to respond next week to Ottawa’s latest offer to resolve the ongoing battle over the sale of Canadian softwood in the U.S. market.
