Snow and a Forest Fire?

Proof that a forest fire can start at any time!
Despite the cool and snowy weather, one new fire sparked on Tuesday on an island on the east end of Eagle Lake.
The fire was human caused.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Debbie MacLean stresses there are still 2-weeks left in the fire season and notes day burning is still prohibited.
The small fire is being monitored by fire crews.
