Snowmobile collision results in impaired charges

A 22 year old Dryden man has been charged with impaired driving after riding his snowmobile into a snowbank.

The incident took place around 12:30 last Friday morning on Casimir Avenue.

The Dryden OPP say the sled was being driven at a high rate of speed, and the driver was not wearing a helmet.

Fortunately there were no injuries as a result of the collision.

In addition to impaired driving, the operator of the snowmachine was charged with fairling to wear a proper helmet and careless driving.

He’s due to appear in Dryden Court on the charges on January 27th.
