The Ontario Provincial Police and Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs are asking snowmobilers to make smart choices this winter.
This is Provincial Snowmobile Safety Week.
Sergeant Michael Price says 5-people have died in collisions in Ontario this winter.
He is recommending that sledders stick to OFSC trails.
Price says don’t drink and drive, wear the proper safety equipment and don’t drive aggressively.
Riders should also be equipped with an emergency kit.
