The “Moosefest Soapbox Derby” finally took place this past weekend, almost a month and a half after it was rained out! Once the event was cancelled, it was decided to move it to August as part of Dryden’s Centennial Celebrations.
A good field of young drivers sped down the Colonization Avenue Hill, a much improved site after the first Derby was held on King Street last year.
Organizers promise the event will return in 2011.
