The damage bills will be high at Thunder Bay’s Old Fort William after flash flooding there Monday.
The site was submerged under 1 1/2 meters of water after the Kaministiqua River over flowed its banks.
General Manager Sergio Buonocore says the water was deep enough to enter some of the buildings through windows.
Several new born sheep in the farm enclosure drowned in the rapidly rising waters.
Officials are not sure if Old Fort William will be able to open for its 30th season as scheduled on the May long weekend or not.
