Despite overcast conditions yesterday afternoon in Northwestern Ontario not all was not lost went it came to seeing the Solar Eclipse!
Thanks to a few sky watchers in Sunset Country some images of the phenomenon were captured!!
Blake Fishwick of Dryden was able to preserve what he saw with his cell phone on Monday at 144 pm. (Image shared below)
Blake said “The clouds lightened up just long enough to run outside and snap this photo!”
Ed Trist of Dryden was also fortunate enough Monday afternoon in Sunset Country to capture the image below! Ed says he took the picture while in downtown Dryden!!

And how about the following video and image captures from Shaun Paul Cerezo in Dryden!! Shaun says “I just used my phone. Samsung S24 to be specific. Most of the pictures were captured between 1:45pm and 2:10pm.”
