Plans to construct a 5-megawatt Solar Park in North Dryden will be unveiled tonight.
Johnson Controls and the Dryden Development Corporation are hosting an open house from 4:30 until 7:30 at the Centre.
Specific presentations will take place at 5 and 6:30.
Officials will present construction plans, the site lay-out and pictures of the proposed Solar Park in Hatch’s Field.
Should all approvals fall into place, construction could start June next year.
Johnson Controls says Dryden is well positioned for such a project.
Marc-Andre Lahaie says the City has a lot of sunshine and the property is the perfect size and close to the main transmission station.
