The Northwestern Health Unit has agreed to continue working on a way to post health warnings at local beaches.
The Health Unit has taken some heat in posting notices are local beaches, even though they are not closed.
Medical officer of Health, Dr. Jim Arthurs says they have a very strict mandate from the province about how they do their testing.
Some have suggested that the Health Unit send its water samples to Winnipeg for testing rather than the provincial lab in Thunder Bay in order to get results back quicker.
