The Ontario Provincial Police have released some information surrounding the death of a Cat Lake First Nation man.
OPP say Nishnawbe-Aski Police responded to a reported disturbance at the Cat Lake Nursing station last Thursday.
Police were allegedly confronted by an agitated man and a struggle ensued.
With help from a second officer, the man was arrested.
Police say shortly after being taken into police custody, the man went into medical distress.
Medical assistance was provided but the man died.
A post-mortem on 34-year-old Romeo Gerald Wesley is scheduled for today (Monday) in Toronto.
