A police chase in the Kenora area has landed a Southern Ontario man in some trouble with the law.
32-year-old Steven Higgins of Newcastle was arrested Wednesday night after speeding away from police during a traffic stop.
Higgins raced down Highway 17A, before running into a wooded area.
Provincial Police called in the K9 unit and arrested Higgins after an almost three hour search.
Higgins has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, flight from police, and driving while disqualified.
He remains in custody.
