Two men from Burlington have been fined a total of $3,500 for hunting offences northeast of Ignace.
Kevan Johnson has pleaded guilty for careless use of a firearm, while Jeffrey Czuba did the same for possessing an illegally killed moose.
The charges stem from an October, 2017 incident on the travelled portion of Kame Bypass Road.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reminds hunters that it’s illegal and unsafe to shoot from, down or across a public road when hunting.
