Special Investigations Unit Called In to Investiga

One person is dead another in custody following a couple of shooting incidents on Grassy Narrows First Nation.
OPP were called yesterday morning after a 33-year-old man was confronted in his home by two others and a shot was fired.
One of the suspects was quickly apprehended, while an armed 17-year-old fled into the bush, and a stand-off ensued.
Shots were fired which eventually killed the male youth.
The Special Investigations Unit has been called in, with a team of 6 Officers taking part.
SIU Spokesperson Rose Hong says this is the first time this year that police have been involved in a fatal shooting in Ontario.
