One more hurdle remains before a new dehumidifier is installed at the
Dryden Pool and Fitness Centre.
The new unit has come in $65,000 over budget, which sparked
considerable debate on how to pay for it at Monday’s Council meeting.
Finance Chair Brian Collins says they need more information before
moving forward with the project.
A special Council meeting has been planned for Friday morning at 9,
because the cost of the system will go up even more if its not purchased by
the end of the week.
The Pool is in desperate need of the new equipment with considerable
weardown from the humidity showing.
