Dryden residents will hit the links Saturday for the second annual Special Olympics Golf tournament.
The tournament is being held at the Anderson’s Homestead golf course.
Organizer Wayne Grandmont was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show today and stated they have 22-athletes participating in four different sports; bowling, Nordic skiing, track and field and baseball.
Grandmont says the athletes make a number of trips to competitions and last year 3-competed at the Ontario Special Olympic Games in Kingston.
Grandmont says he’s hoping to surpass last years total of roughly $12,500 raised.
