A special weather statement is in place across northwestern Ontario.
Rain and mild conditions will change to snow with much colder temperatures late Wednesday night.
CKDR Meterologist Bill Laidlaw says we could see around 5-centimetres of snow by Thursday morning and Environment Canada says wind gusts will be around 60-kilometres an hour, resulting in poor visibility.
Laidlaw notes another 5 to 10-centimetres is expected Thursday with widespread drifting due to northwest winds.
