Speech and Hearing Awareness Month

The Northwestern Health Unit is reminding the public to take good care
of their hearing.
May is ‘Speech and Hearing Awareness’ month and Director of Family
Services Karen Essery says anyone who wants their hearing checked can
contact their local health unit office.
Essery suggests that you should turn your I-Pod down and wear
protective headgear when mowing the lawn.
