English River Miners goalie Spencer Eschyschyn has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
The 18-year-old native of Kamloops, B.C. won all three of his starts last week and helped propel the Miners to second place in the league.
Eschyschyn stopped a total of 97-shots against Dryden GM and Fort Frances.
He is 5-0 on the season.
Also receiving consideration was Eric Stout of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
